Your work is amazingly brillant ! I was staring at "Rose recycling backwards" for 5 long minutes the other day, and just figured out today (with the help of your new posts) it was actually figurative and not abstract ! *ashamed* Is there a specific name for this type of triangle based drawing ? Do you have any reference or else ? Keep going with the great work, bravo !
Thank you. no worries i have had that response to that one quite alot, im quite interested in the blur between abstraction and a definite projection of a form, im working on some more that will hopefully have the same effect, though at the same time i think the more classically figrative ones have there own personality. I dont have any specific name for it, ive been using 5mm spacing A4 isometric paper. The drawings that i have uploaded have all been done using a real life model at a drop in life drawing session i go to each week, the model is instructed to do several 3 minute poses, 2, 20 minute ones and a 45 minute one meaning that we get quite a variety of body angles to draw, hopefully providing a visual variety.
Thanks for the encouragement and support :D
